Barbells For Boobs — Workout Post

Alright!!  We waive the white flag!  With so many people blowing up our phones with texts and emails, we are releasing the workout standards for Saturday’s WOD.

I’ll keep this post short and sweet:

  • Check in time — 8AM – 8:45AM This is where heat assignments will be made
  • WOD briefing 8:45 – 9:00AM
  • Workouts begin at 9AM

The WOD:

3 Rounds for Time:

  • 10 Clean and Jerk (135,95) — YES!!  These WILL be squat cleans
  • 40m sprint
  • 80m sled pull
  • 40m sprint


We decided to mix things up a bit this year in the name of Constantly Varied.  Thank you to Justin Riley at CrossFit East Sacramento  for loaning us their sleds — the workouts will definitely be more interesting than if we just did Grace again!

Heats will run every 20 minutes until all athletes are through.  There will be a warm-up area for athletes to utilize at any time prior to their heats.  Post WOD refreshments (read – BEER) will be on hand as well.  We have raised around $2,800 so far, with 63 athletes registered as of this posting; I would like to see this number doubled by Saturday.  Get as many people as you know to sign up.  Everyone is welcome! Seasoned CrossFitters down to day one novices — we’ll get them moving well so they can hit the WOD with intensity!
