The Living Social Lowdown
The deal — $25 for 5 CrossFit classes
How it works. Once you purchase the deal, you will be assigned a voucher that will need to be redeemed PRIOR to participating in your first class.
- Buy the voucher
- Allow for 24 hours from the point of purchase prior to redeeming your voucher.
- Go to MindBody Online - CFWS. (follow link)
- Click the “Living Social” tab at the top of the screen
- Find a class time you would like to reserve and click the “Sign Up Now” button.
- Enter First and Last name in the fields under the “New to Our Site” box.
- Complete profile by entering your Contact Information as well as User Login.
- Click the “Make a Single Reservation” button to reserve your spot in the classes you would like to attend.
- You will then be taken to our online store with a total charge of $0 posted on the screen. Hit the “Checkout” button at the bottom right of the screen. You will only need to checkout ONE TIME prior to reserving your first class. All subsequent classes will be reserved through the login you have just created.
- The next screen will be the order summary screen. Hit the red “Place Order” button at the bottom right of the screen.
- At this time, your reservation for your first class will be complete. You will also have completed your profile in our system.
- You may “Book Another Class” at that time by clicking on the link.
- Be sure to enroll in the LIVING SOCIAL classes only. You can access these classes at anytime in our scheduling software by clicking on the LIVING SOCIAL tab near the top left hand side of your screen.
If you are unable to attend reserved classes, please remove your reservation AT LEAST 2 HOURS PRIOR to class to allow those on the waiting list an opportunity to fill the spot.
Classes are available for reservation on a first come, first served basis. Those who reserve a class and fail to show up without cancelling through MindBody Online at least two hours prior to the class start time will be billed for that class — YOU WILL NOT be able to make up classes that you no show to.
We ask that you try and complete the 5 sessions in a 2 week time frame to replicate the minimum recommended training frequency for any CFWS member (3 days/week).

A Vouchers purchased for the deal launched on 5/9/2012 may be redeemed up to one full year from purchase date at CrossFit West Sacramento.
Q What will the classes consist of?
A You will be doing legit CrossFit workouts. Each class will consist of a warm-up, a skill/strength session and a short metcon (metabolic conditioning) workout. Each WOD (workout of the day) is different, which is exactly what we normally do for our athletes. CrossFit training is most concisely defined as Constantly Varied, Functional Movement, performed at High Intensity.
Q Is this appropriate for beginners?
A CrossFit is HARD WORK. Make no mistake about this. Our motto “Effort WILL NOT be Avoided” is literally painted on our walls – and we truly expect every person who steps foot in our gym to be ready to give 100% effort all the time. That being said, anyone who is ready to work as hard as possible in every workout is ready for CrossFit. All workouts are scalable, meaning that every exercise can be modified in a way that preserves the movement pattern and reduces the workload. This means that people of all ages and fitness levels can benefit from the same workout with appropriately scaled workloads.
