As all of our members know defeat is not an option here at Crossfit West Sac.  So I put her up on the 16 inch box gave her a few practice jumps and with all of the other ladies encouragement she decided she was going to go for the 20 inch.

 Then in 3..2..1 GO! She nailed it. Emily, you’ve been a beast ever since. Way to go girl!

 Have a goal or a new toy you’d like to accomplish? Pull one of the coaches over and let’s get er done!

   Emily!!! You have come such a long way in such a short period of time! I remember you telling me that your last trainer would hold your hand while you jumped up on a plyo box. Now, you don’t need anyone but yourself to overcome even the biggest challenges in the gym and in LIFE.

   We are building a community of empowered, confident and inspiring individuals at CFWS. Thank you Brittany for being a cornerstone of this community. We are all better off with you here to support, encourage and inspire us!

   Thanks Brittany and all the other ladies – that was an awesome night and I felt so accomplished! The best part was all the other ladies cheering me on, and not accepting my “I can’t do it”. I have since jumped on the 24 inch box, and hope to one day jump on the 28 inch box (among other things!).

   I truly feel lucky to have found such a great community of athletes and friends at CFWS!
