Thank you for choosing CrossFit West Sacramento Kids program for your son or daughter! As parents, we all want to offer our children a safe environment in which to learn and develop. At CFWS Kids, our mission is:
To provide a safe, fun and effective program that allows for personal development in athleticism while instilling an affinity towards daily activity and healthy living.
In order to achieve this mission, we have structured our program in the following age groups:
- Ages 3-5
- Classes are 20 minutes in duration
- Class Schedule is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 – 5:20 PM.
- Cost $30/month
- $5 Drop ins
Elementary / Middle School
- Ages 6 -10; 11 – 13
- Classes are 40 minutes in duration
- Class Schedule is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:20 – 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM – 8:45 AM
- Cost $150/8 week session
- $15 Drop ins
Middle School Advanced Ages 12+ (invite only)
In this class, we will often practice and utilize higher skill exercise, including an introduction to barbell based strength training. Participants will be recommended for this class after establishing proficiency in the following list of exercises AND demonstrating an ability to follow the direction of the coach without becoming easily distracted:
Air Squat, Box Jumps, Push-ups, Pull-ups/Ring Rows, Knees to Elbows, Medicine Ball Deadlift, Medicine Ball Clean, Wall Ball
- Ages 12+
- Classes are 1 hour in duration
- Class Schedule – TBA
- Cost $250/8 week session
- $15 drop in

Age groups allow us to provide age appropriate training and instruction. The developmental process in children requires different activities during different stages of development in order for a program to meet the goals we have outlined in our mission statement. While we do not focus on lifting any significant weight in our Pre School and Elementary classes, our Middle School class will begin to apply the skill sets acquired in earlier training towards learning how to safely and effectively lift and train with weights.
